Tuscany Watercolor Wedding Invitation

Chanelle & Daniel

For Chanelle and Daniel’s destination wedding at La Foce, the extraordinary landscape of Tuscany became the starting point for the visual identity of their celebration. The couple wanted their invitation to capture the view from the historic estate, so we looked to the rolling countryside itself—its vivid greens, deep earth tones and unmistakable sense of place—to create a suite that would introduce guests to Tuscany before they ever arrived.

An original watercolor of La Foce became the defining artwork, wrapping around the invitation suite and transforming the landscape into the first reveal. Inside, we paired warm, earthy letterpress tones with rich gold foil and delicate Italian flourishes, allowing the surrounding pieces to remain quieter so that the painting could take center stage. An opulent gold emblem sealed the suite and added a final note of old-world formality. The result was more than a depiction of the venue: it established a romantic, distinctly Tuscan visual language that could carry through the wedding itself.

A Sense of Place

At La Foce, the landscape is inseparable from the experience of the estate. Cypress-lined roads cut through rolling hills, formal gardens give way to the open Tuscan countryside, and layers of green, stone and warm earth create a palette that feels as though it has always belonged there. For Chanelle and Daniel’s wedding, that setting gave us a visual vocabulary before we ever began designing.

Rather than introducing a separate decorative theme, we brought that world directly into the stationery. The watercolor landscape established the palette and sense of place, while gold, ornamental flourishes and tactile printing added the formality the occasion called for. Seen alongside the setting and details of the wedding, the invitation becomes part of the same visual story rather than simply an announcement for it.

That relationship is central to the way we approach custom wedding stationery: finding the elements that make a celebration distinctive and translating them into a visual language that can begin with the invitation and extend throughout the wedding. The goal is not simply to coordinate with the event, but to help establish the world guests are about to enter.
