This ranch inspired rustic invitation has it all: beauty, meaningful details and personality in spades! We custom illustrated the unique mountain view of the couple's new Montana home and infused local details such as pine trees, pine cones, moose and wood etched typography. We also incorporated tactile details like embossed wood textures and lush letterpress to create a truly commemorative piece for the wedding to come.

Sketches

We created a range of designs all inspired by the wedding destination, Big Sky, Montana. We incorporated unique materials and finishes such as embossed woodgrain paper and letterpress to add a rustic, tactile feel to the suite. Since the couple loved the idea of a bellyband, we incorporated one on all of our design options.

Monograms

No design is ever complete without a unique monogram which is the centerpiece of the invitation suite. We explored a variety of monograms ranging from rustic ranch inspired to more contemporary styles.

Color Study

Once the couple had chosen a cover design, we experimented with a few different color combinations and options all within the palette of chartreuse greens and sky blue.

Design Extension

Once the look and feel were defined, we embarked on the process of extending the design to all the pieces in the invitation suite. From the reply cards to the envelopes, we designed each piece to reflect the rustic charm and ranch style of the invitation.

Design Refinement

Every element and detail in the suite is carefully considered from the details of the final illustration of the Big Sky mountain range to the sizing and fit of the bellyband with wood texture embossing.

Final Design

At the end of the creative process, after all edits and refinements are made, the full suite comes to life in the hands of our expert team of printers and craftsmen.
