The celebration began long before guests arrived in Washington. For the save the date, we created a keepsake inspired by the romance of a French pâtisserie: a hand-painted, illustrated story of the couple presented inside a custom box with champagne-gold foil. The invitation suite then carried the palette into a more formal expression, pairing letterpress and gold foil with a delicate laser-cut sleeve inspired by floral lace. At its center, a custom wreath monogram became the signature of the celebration. Rather than ending with the invitation, that identity carried through the wedding itself. The monogram appeared in gold on the dance floor and embroidered dinner napkins, while the cherry blossom artwork and soft blush-and-gold palette continued across the welcome gifts, menus, programs, escort cards and other day-of details. From the first piece guests received to the reception at the Andrew W. Mellon Auditorium, the stationery and celebration were designed to feel like parts of the same story.
