ABOUT THE WEDDING
Set within one of Paris’s most storied hotels, Olivia and Ryan’s Ritz Paris wedding was a celebration of old-world romance, couture-inspired detail and unmistakably French style. Working alongside planner Sofia Crokos, the couple became the first to marry at the Ritz Paris following its four-year restoration, welcoming guests for a destination wedding weekend that unfolded across the city before culminating in the hotel’s Grand Garden and Salon Vendôme. We created a custom wedding invitation suite and stationery identity that felt entirely at home in that world: elegant and romantic, with a sense of history, but never overly ornate. Inspired by Parisian style and the quiet refinement of the great French fashion houses, the suite paired crisp white papers with letterpress, gold foil and custom satin ribbon engraved in France. At its center, an illustrated crest of two tigers beneath a crown became a personal emblem that would carry from the invitations through the wedding itself.
Paris had been part of Olivia and Ryan’s story from the beginning. It was one of the first cities they traveled to together, and somewhere they returned to throughout their relationship. When they discovered the Ritz Paris during its extensive restoration, it was the secluded Grand Garden, hidden just beyond Place Vendôme, that ultimately captured them. They knew even before the hotel reopened that it was where they wanted to marry. Their Paris destination wedding was imagined not as a single event, but as a series of chapters. A welcome dinner overlooking the Louvre was followed by an atmospheric rehearsal dinner at the Musée de la Chasse et de la Nature, before the wedding itself at the Ritz. Each celebration had its own mood and visual language, while remaining part of the same larger story.
A celebration where cherry blossoms, gilded details and a sense of springtime romance found their way into every piece.

The wedding day took its cues from the romantic interiors and gardens of the Ritz Paris. Whites and creams, touched with blush and gold, filled the Grand Garden and Salon Vendôme, while roses, peonies and abundant white flowers created the feeling of a secluded garden sanctuary in the center of the city. After a first look on the hotel’s grand staircase, Olivia and Ryan married in the garden that had first made them fall in love with the Ritz. Dinner followed in the Salon Vendôme, stretching in true Parisian fashion until after midnight, with a champagne tower, macarons and an elaborate floral croquembouche carrying the sense of French fantasy through the evening. From the engraved ribbon that first greeted guests in the invitation to the crest that reappeared throughout the wedding weekend, every element became part of a larger visual story—a Ritz Paris wedding where stationery, setting and celebration felt as though they had always belonged together.
