These glamorous and modern graffiti wedding invitations are anything but ordinary. Inspired by the couple's love for New York City's art scene, we used graffiti art to commemorate their love in gorgeous shades of red, black and white. The invitation features modern typography and sleek patent luxury snakeskin papers while the enclosure card and envelopes showcase edgy graffiti motifs with their custom drawn monogram embedded within.

SKETCHES

We began the process with some different invitation and envelope directions all centering around the idea of edgy graffiti designs and urban inspired street art. We explored everything from textured papers to illustrations that were a nod to famed artist Shepard Fairey whose art adorned the exterior of the couple’s wedding venue.

Pattern Design

We were inspired by urban graffiti and created a custom print that we could use on the enclosure card back as well as on liners for the envelopes. The motif included the couple’s custom designed monogram which we integrated into the pattern.

We created a range of monogram designs from contemporary and eclectic to one that mimicked the graffiti artwork from the custom pattern we designed for the rest of the invitation suite.
