If you’re dreaming of an Amalfi Coast wedding invitation that captures the beauty and spirit of Italy, this custom invitation suite was designed to do exactly that. Created for a destination wedding at the iconic Hotel Santa Caterina, the invitation features a bespoke watercolor illustration of the sweeping coastal view from the couple’s venue.
The artwork wraps seamlessly around a luxurious letterpress invitation, finished with a pale cream wax seal for a refined touch. To bring in the charm of the region, we incorporated classic Amalfi lemons and hand-painted Italian tile motifs throughout the suite—adding authenticity, vibrance, and a sense of place.
The final wedding invitation suite is elegant, timeless, and richly detailed—an unforgettable keepsake that beautifully reflects the magic of an Amalfi Coast celebration.

The Inspiration
We wanted to capture the essence of the Amalfi Coast — the cliffs, the sea, the sun-drenched architecture — distilled into a single, luminous watercolor composition. The blues of the water and sky subtly gradate into the soft greens of the coastal foliage, while hints of warm terra-cotta echo the buildings perched along the cliffs. Delicate floral accents reminiscent of bougainvillea bring life and movement, creating an atmosphere that immediately transports you to the coast.
Pattern and detail draw inspiration directly from Italian ceramics and tile work. Geometric florals and repeating motifs feel timeless, rooted in local craftsmanship, and act as a visual anchor for the suite, guiding the eye and framing the text. The interplay between architectural patterns and painterly natural elements gives the invitation depth and sophistication, while still feeling intimate and personal — a design distinctly inspired by the Amalfi Coast.
