Noura & Abdullah
A couture wedding invitation suite was designed for a royal wedding in Saudi Arabia. We used an array of techniques ranging from watercolor painting to laser cutting and foil stamping to create a regal design with a touch of opulence. The result is a sparkling invitation with jewel incrusted detail fit for the most lavish of parties.
Painting
We hand watercolor painted a one of a kind crystal and beadwork motif that was inspired by fashion forward evening bags and clutches. The painting was rendered in delicate rose gold and blush colored paint.
Design & Refinements
We arranged the watercolor and sketched motifs in unique layouts that were then printed throughout the wedding invitation suite. The pen and ink drawings were used for rose gold foil stamping and the watercolors were flat printed on ivory paper.
Sleeves
The laser cut invitation sleeves were designed to work seamlessly with the invitation card design so that the cutouts on the sleeve perfectly accentuate the watercolor motif within.
Envelopes
Custom envelope boxes were designed to contain the invitations. The artwork on these boxes were based on the drawings we created which wrapped around the entire piece.
Final Design
At the end of the creative process, after all edits and refinements are made, the full suite comes to life in the hands of our expert team of printers and craftsmen.
