Ornate Deco Wedding Invitation

Brogan & Marc

We took Art Deco styling to the next level with this high fashion inspired black and gold wedding invitation. Printed in dazzling gold foil on thick black stock, this ornate deco wedding invitation is evocative of a dramatic piece of costume jewelry or couture accessory, a look that truly embodies the vision the couple were looking to achieve for their wedding.

Since we are a studio specializing in custom work, we put together custom pricing for each project. For your convenience, below is a brief summary of the starting prices for both our collection and custom suites:

• $2,000 is the starting price for pre-existing designs for a 4-piece suite in 1-letterpress color. Suites with additional embellishments such as foil stamping, laser cut sleeves, pocket folders, etc. start at a higher price point of $3,000 and up.

• Custom invitations start at $2,750 for a 4-piece suite in 1-letterpress color.

• For budgets in the $1,000 range, many of our designs can be adapted to a economical price point using flat printing.

Note: A 4-piece suite includes Invitation, Reply Card, Outer Envelope and Reply Envelope. However a suite can be customized to your needs. Most pre-existing designs you see, whether it be from our custom page or collection page, can be made into a ready to order set

Custom Process

Our custom process is as unique and creative as our finished pieces themselves. Take a look below to see how we brought our client's vision to life.

The Inspiration

We invite you to explore our inspiration and moodboard for how this design came to fruition. You’re also welcome to view our creative process to dig deeper into our exclusive design process.

Gershwin Inspiration

Sketches

We began the process by designing the front and back of the invitation card in a bold Art Deco style that was inspired by our signature Ellington collection. We took the Deco theme to the next level by adding a beautiful backer to the design.

Design Alternates

We explored some different versions of the invitation back with varying levels of complexity to the Art Deco. By laying out our options from simple to more elaborate, we were able to determine the perfect balance.

Design Extension

Once the look and feel were defined, we embarked on the process of extending the design to all the pieces in the invitation suite including the envelopes and reply cards.

Production

After the design was finished and approved, we prepared the artwork for printing and double checked to make sure that everything was perfect from the Art Deco motifs to the smallest details of the monogram.
