Lion Crest Wedding Invitation

This couple was interested in creating an opulent luxury invitation suite that was personalized and had meaning meaningful details and symbolisms that were unique to them. We created a custom crest with two lions, each of which reflected the hobbies and backgrounds of the bride and groom. The center shield houses their initials which are written in the Greek alphabet and bordered with a Greek meandros border as a subtle nod to their culture and heritage.

The Inspiration

Sketches

We began the process with a few different variants on an invitation card and sleeve inspired by our signature Château design. We explored some different die cut shapes as well as color options within a purple, ivory and gold color palette.

Crest

The couple loved the look of a crest that incorporated their personal interests, culture and backgrounds. We investigated some different animals and settled on two matching lions flanking a regal shield.

After establishing the look and feel of the suite, we extended the design to the envelopes as well our custom stamp designs.

Once the design is complete, we refine and perfect the digital artwork on the computer, making sure that every detail is carefully prepared for the print process.
