For a chic wedding at a historic castle in Brazil, we designed a luxury castle wedding invitation that would not only set the tone for the festivities but convey a unique old world feel. Carolina and Andrew were looking to embrace the gilded look of the castle but balanced with modern sensibility and style. We incorporated unique finishes such as hand-contoured beveled edges, die cut shapes, gold foil and delicate typography for a look that would set the mood and delight their guests.

SKETCHES

We began the process with a few different design directions all centered around incorporating a floor motif from the couple’s wedding venue, Itaipava Castle. We designed a few alternate front and back designs which featured a gold paper mounted to the back of the invitation.

Design Refinements

After establishing the look and feel of the suite, we extended the design to the envelopes, enclosure cards and further refined it, perfecting all the details and illustrations.

FINAL DESIGN

At the end of the creative process, after all edits and refinements are made, the full suite comes to life in the hands of our expert team of printers and craftsmen.
